![]() Coupfuffle?
Around late evening on Wednesday 3rd August, there was A total government break down. This came shortly after the acting Prime Minister Rt. Hon Phillip Reed released a statement regarding his plans to cut tax rates down to a minimum of £30. Just a few hours after, the BBC started reporting strange activity within Westminster. It soon became clear that an attempted Coup d'etat was underway. For much of the evening, citizens left right and centre were left baffled. However, it soon emerged that the National Workers Union (NWU) were responsible for this short-lived dictatorship, declaring the United Kingdom was Totalitarian Socialist State. This soon came to an abrupt end when the government miraculously regained control. Immediately after the events occurred, Ambassador Lord Timothy Cavendish was quoted to have said, “The Chancellor has been revoked. The UK wins again, God Save the Queen!” Her Majesty is yet to comment. Fighter School for Fighter Prince

A bendigedig week for the Welsh!
Over the past week, celebrations have been taking place in Llanelwedd as Wales commemorates the annual RWAS Royal Welsh Show. At this prestigious and ‘anhygoel’ event, livestock as well as businesses, entertainers and military personnel showcase their capabilities. BBC Cymru as well as the Welsh broadcasting company S4C were there non-stop to keep the rest of Wales and the UK updated on all the goings on. It was even reported that Bryn the Shetland sheepdog won best in show! Fellow competitor Siân came a close second. From Builth Wells to Crymych, there was a fantastic turn out. Da iawn! It is thought that this will be an excellent source of revenue for the de-evolutionized Welsh government as well as local businesses across the country. 32% of banks have seen activity and better saving
Latest figures released under the Freedom of Information Act, show that the past month has seen a boost in the UK economy. After the slump at the start of the Summer season we've seen a rise in the number of visitors coming to the UK and spending their free time and disposable income within the capital. The figures also suggest that more people are choosing to deposit their money in local accounts and that banks have seen a revival in popularity and activity. Martin Goodfellow of Westminster's HSBC branch stated "it's fantastic to see that people are choosing to go back to the high-street and deposit their savings in back accounts and cash isa. It not only improves the banking sector but also the local economy by helping banks invest in projects and schemes for the benefit of people across the UK.." The report was taken in late July. Experts now hope that this trend will continue under a Labour Government. But the new Chancellor wasn't available for comment.
